Social media has a huge impact on the life of a human resources professional. Whether it be for recruiting, branding, or communicating with employees, social sites like Linkedin, Google, Twitter and many others have changed the way that HR professionals do their jobs.
One of the many things I learned while working in HR is that it is very important for HR professionals to “set the example.” This is especially true when it comes to social media practices. The HR professional is often the first person that potential employees interact with in an organization.
Toni and I met eight years ago when I was interning in a human resources department. Toni contacted me because she understands how important it is both personally and professionally to have a polished social media account. During our session we spent some time catching up and capturing images that are both professional and showcase Toni’s personality. Hello amazing smile!
Here are a few of my favorites from our session.
